One weekend I thought I would try hiking the entire length of Manhattan -- 14 miles on Broadway. Apparently in the end I was misguided -- while I walked the length of Manhattan Island, I did not walk the length of Manhattan, which extends across the river to include Marble Hill. Oh well.
