Lisa Slouffman is a Product
Marketing Manager position with Custom House, a global payments company in
Vancouver, Canada. Prior
to her current position, she worked as a senior marketing manager at
Microsoft, held an internship in
IBM's Marketing Leadership Development Program
She currently volunteers with Siebel Scholars, Rainier Scholars, the Kellogg Alumni Admissions Organization and the Northwestern University Alumni Admissions Council. While in Boston, Lisa served as president and treasurer of the board of directors of Rosie's Place, the first shelter for homeless women in the United States. She has also volunteered with Jubilee Women's Center. An avid backpacker, Lisa has hiked on four continents, including extended trips in the Swiss Alps, the Cascades, BC's Coast Mountains, New Hampshire's White Mountains, and Australia's Bungle Bungles. She also enjoys kayaking and skiing. Her other interests include travel (five continents so far), art appreciation, medieval history, and rock and classical music. Lisa holds an MBA with distinction from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a B.A. in history and German studies from Northwestern University. At Kellogg, she was awarded a Siebel Scholarship and the Dean’s Service Award. In her undergraduate work, she was selected for Phi Beta Kappa, departmental honours in history, and the Grace Douglas Johnston Award for the best senior honours thesis in history in her year. During her undergraduate work, she spent a year studying at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, Germany. A native of Spokane, Washington, Lisa lives in Vancouver, British Columbia.
